GE Shipping delivers its 2007 built Medium Range Tanker 'Jag Prakash'

On 13th May 2026, The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GE Shipping) delivered its 2007 built Medium Range Tanker "Jag Prakash" to the buyers. The vessel was contracted for sale in Q1 FY27.

After this transaction, the company's current owned fleet stands at 40 vessels, comprising 25 Tankers (5 Crude Tankers, 16 Product Tankers, 4 LPG Carriers) and 15 Dry Bulk Carriers (2 Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax, 1 Ultramax, 2 Supramax) aggregating 3.24 mn dwt.

Additionally, the company has contracted to buy one secondhand Medium Range Tanker and contracted to sell its Medium Range Tanker "Jag Pankhi". These transactions are expected to be completed in Q1 FY27.

Shares of The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1498.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1509.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 28553 in over 2683 trades.
