Gateway Distriparks Reports Strong Fiscal Year 2026 Growth Amidst Global Headwinds

Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL), a prominent leader in India's multimodal logistics sector, has released its audited financial results for the quarter and full year ending March 31, 2026. Despite a challenging fourth quarter influenced by geopolitical tensions, the company achieved significant year-on-year growth across its key financial metrics.

Annual Financial Performance Highlights

The fiscal year 2025-26 marked a period of robust expansion for GDL, bolstered by the consolidation of Snowman Logistics as a subsidiary.

Total Revenue: Surged to Rs. 2,211.8 crore, a 31.61% increase over the previous fiscal year.

EBIDTA: Grew by 19.31%, reaching Rs. 497.5 crore.

Profit After Tax (PAT): Stood at Rs. 259.4 crore, reflecting a 7.27% year-on-year growth.

Operational Throughput

The company saw steady volume growth throughout the year, driven primarily by its rail operations.

Rail Vertical: Achieved a yearly throughput of 3,93,872 TEUs, growing by 9.38%.

CFS Vertical: Managed 3,70,193 TEUs, a modest increase of 1.52%.

Combined Throughput: The total volume for the year reached 7,64,065 TEUs, up 5.43% compared to the previous year.

Q4 Challenges and Strategic Outlook

The fourth quarter (Q4 FY26) presented a more subdued picture, with a slight revenue dip to Rs. 533.7 crore (down 0.24% QOQ). Management attributed this performance to the ongoing West Asia crisis, which has created uncertainty for customers and impacted trade volumes.

Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, expressed a balanced outlook: "The company's performance for the first 9 months was strong, however, Q4 has been impacted by the West Asia crisis... We still remain hopeful that trade volumes will grow in the medium to long term, with the trade deals that India continues to sign with other countries."

Future Expansion and Domestic Growth

Gateway Distriparks continues to focus on diversifying its service offerings and expanding its footprint:

New Domestic Segments: The company has initiated the movement of steel coils from Ankleshwar to boost domestic volumes.

Infrastructure Development: Construction of a new Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Indore is underway.

Snowman Logistics Expansion: Plans are in place to expand the warehouse network through both owned facilities and asset-light "build-to-suit" models.

GDL remains committed to its role as an integrated inter-modal service provider, leveraging its network of 10 terminals, 34 trainsets, and over 560 trailers to provide end-to-end solutions for the EXIM industry.
