ACME Solar commissions additional 155 MW / 470 MWh Battery Energy Storage System projects in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (ACME Solar), through its various subsidiaries, has commissioned additional 155 MW / 470.25 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). With this milestone, the company's total commissioned BESS capacity stands at 297.67 MW / 951.74 MWh, out of total planned BESS capacity of 835 MW / 3,114.64 MWh across these SPVs.

Located in the state of Rajasthan, these BESS are connected with existing operational Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) and will run on merchant basis, generating additional revenue stream through price differential between peak and non-peak demand hours.

These BESS projects are designed to enhance grid reliability and optimise power utilisation by charging batteries during non-peak demand periods and discharging during peak demand periods. This capability will play a critical role in balancing energy supply and demand while improving the overall grid stability.

Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 237.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 246.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 70152 in over 2008 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 246.00 and intraday low of 236.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 16807290.00.
