HDFC Bank Chairman Atanu Chakraborty Resigns, Keki Mistry Named Interim Part-time Chairman

HDFC Bank Limited announced the immediate resignation of Mr. Atanu Chakraborty (DIN: 01469375) as Part-time Chairman and Independent Director on March 18, 2026.

The Board of Directors places on record its appreciation for Mr. Chakraborty's contribution to the Bank during his tenure and wishes him all the success in his future endeavours.

Mr. Chakraborty cited personal reasons in his resignation letter; the Board expressed appreciation for his contributions. RBI approved Mr. Keki Mistry (DIN: 00008886) as interim Part-time Chairman effective March 19, 2026, for three months.
