Kem Cho Sharjah! SpiceJet Launches Non-Stop Flights from Ahmedabad to Sharjah

SpiceJet will launch non-stop flights connecting Ahmedabad with Sharjah starting February 5, 2026. The new service further expands the airline's international network and strengthens air connectivity between India and the UAE. With this addition, Sharjah becomes the airline's second destination in the UAE after Dubai.
The new service will operate five days a week, except Tuesday and Wednesday, offering passengers' greater flexibility and convenience for travel to the Middle East. Ahmedabad is a key economic and cultural hub with strong trade, tourism, and diaspora links to the UAE, making Sharjah a natural and strategic addition to SpiceJet's international network.
The Ahmedabad-Sharjah flights will complement SpiceJet's existing international services and cater to the growing demand from business travellers, tourists, and the large Indian expatriate community in the region.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet, said, "Sharjah's position as the cultural capital of the UAE and a key regional hub makes it an important addition to our network. The launch of this service reflects the growing demand for travel between India and the UAE, and we remain committed to expanding connectivity across the region."
Sharjah is the third-largest emirate of the United Arab Emirates. It is the only emirate that shares borders with all six of the other emirates. Visitors to Sharjah can explore a rich mix of heritage sites, museums and mosques. The emirate's east coast is dotted with archaeological sites dating back to as early as the second millennium BCE.
Bookings for the Ahmedabad-Sharjah flights are now open across SpiceJet's website, mobile app, and authorised travel partners.
Shares of SPICEJET LTD was last trading in BSE at Rs. 25.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 26.81. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5957034 in over 12048 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 26.78 and intraday low of 25.51. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 155226661.00.
