Hon'ble Raksha Mantri visits Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited

The Hon'ble Raksha Mantri - Shri Rajnath Singh Ji, visited the manufacturing and testing facilities of Solar Industries India Limited's wholly owned subsidiary, Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited, on January 18, 2026.

During the visit, the Hon'ble Raksha Mantri inaugurated Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited's (SDAL) State-of-the-art Medium Calibre Ammunition Manufacturing facility in Nagpur. The inaugurated facility is part of the Company's ongoing efforts to strengthen indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities and supports the Government of India's Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives. The Hon'ble Raksha Mantri was briefed on the Company's defence product offerings, research and development initiatives, and strategic growth plans in the defence and aerospace sector.

Shares of Solar Industries India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 12835.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 12884.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5785 in over 1279 trades.
