Steel Exchange India Ltd's flagship products receives GreenPro Certification

SIMHADRI TMT Fe550D and Fe500D HSCRM bars (sizes 8mm to 32mm), the flagship products of Steel Exchange India Limited, have been awarded the GreenPro Ecolabel Certification by the CII-Green Products & Services Council.

GreenPro Certification is a Type-1 eco-label that evaluates products on multiple sustainability parameters, including raw material efficiency, energy performance, environmental footprint, life-cycle impact, and end-of-life management. This certification for SIMHADRI TMT Fe550D and Fe500D HSCRM bars (8mm-32mm) has been granted following an independent assessment of the manufacturing processes at our Integrated Steel Plant at Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.

This recognition highlights the Company's focus on sustainable manufacturing, optimized resource management, and environmentally responsible construction steel, while aligning with our ongoing efforts to enhance plant performance and advance long-term ESG objectives.
