Lemon Tree Hotels signs a new property in Nepal

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, India's fastest-growing mid-scale and premium hotel chain, today announced the signing of its latest property - Lemon Tree Hotel, Bandipur, Nepal.

The property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. This signing will further strengthen the company's presence in Nepal, while catering to both business and leisure travellers for a fresh, vibrant, and value-driven experience.

Property Highlights

Lemon Tree Hotel, Bandipur, Nepal is located in the beautifully preserved town in Nepal's Tanahun District. Once a bustling stop on the India-Tibet trade route, Bandipur is known as a "living museum" for its traditional Newari architecture, cobblestone streets, and cultural heritage.

A 1,700 metre cable car ride will lead to the hotel, the only one at the top, located at a height of 1,030 meters. When open, Lemon Tree Hotel, Bandipur, Nepal will offer a stunning bird's eye view of the Himalayan ranges and the Marsyangdi Valley. Guests can also visit the nearby sacred Khadka Devi Temple, which enshrines a sacred sword rather than an idol, that is believed to embody the goddess herself. Additionally, the place offers unique experiences like hiking to caves and more, all within a pedestrian-friendly zone.

The key features of the hotel will include:

- Recreational facilities include a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness center.

Conveniently located between Kathmandu and Pokhara, Bandipur is a captivating hilltop town nestled in the Tanahun District of Gandaki Province in Nepal. The Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal is approximately 145 kms away from the property, while the Pokhara International Airport is about 75 kms away. The hotel is well connected by both public and private transport.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 162.55 and intraday low of 160.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 12182802.00.
