Petronet LNG Ltd signs loan agreement with SBI consortium

Petronet LNG Limited has signed a loan agreement to borrow secured Rupee Term Loan of Rs. 6,000 crore each, aggregating to Rs. 12,000 crores, from the consortium of State Bank of India (SBI) and Bank of Baroda, with SBI leading the consortium. The loan shall be utilised towards financing the Petrochemicals Project of 750 KTPA of Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) and 500 KTPA of Polypropylene (PP) including propane and ethane handling facilities at Dahej, Gujarat and other capital expenditure of the Company.

Shares of Petronet LNG Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 269.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 269.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 36822 in over 1274 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 271.85 and intraday low of 268.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9953239.00.
