Fire incident at Thomas Scott India Ltd's warehouse

A fire incident occurred on Tuesday, 25th November, 2025 at BD- 201 to 220, Rajlaxmi Industrial Complex, 2nd Floor, Opp. Durgesh Park, Kalher Village, Bhiwandi- 421302 of Thomas Scott India Ltd.

The fire has caused damage to a part of the building and certain assets including stock. The exact quantum of loss/damage is being assessed. Fortunately, there has been no loss of life or injury to any personnel. The Company has taken immediate steps to control the situation and is coordinating with the local authorities. The incident has been reported to the insurance company, and the Company is in the process of filing necessary claims.

At present, the operations at the affected warehouse have been temporarily halted. The management is taking necessary actions to resume operations at the earliest, and efforts are being made to mitigate the impact on the business.

Shares of Thomas Scott (India) Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 358.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 360.20. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7220 in over 627 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 367.30 and intraday low of 355.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2594356.00.
