DCW completes 100 years since laying of foundation stone at Dhrangadhra

DCW Limited has completed 100 years since the laying of the foundation stone of its manufacturing facility located at Dhrangadhra, Gujarat, which marks the establishment of India's first Soda Ash plant in the year 1925.

The foundation stone for the Dhrangadhra unit was laid in 1925, and the plant was later taken over and commenced operations under the name "Dhrangadhra Chemical Works Limited" in 1939.
