Cyient DLM Limited, leading integrated electronics manufacturing solutions provider, hosted Hon'ble Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka, Shri M.B. Patil, at its Mysuru facility, where he witnessed the company's advanced design and manufacturing capabilities. He interacted with the Cyient DLM leadership team, toured the production lines, and reviewed ongoing programs that showcased Cyient DLM's contribution to Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
The minister commended Cyient DLM's role in advancing complex electronics design and manufacturing for mission-critical industries and fostering skill development within the state. He appreciated the technical complexity of the work being carried out at Cyient DLM, noting how such capabilities are positioning Karnataka as a leader in Electronics Design and Manufacturing Services (EDMS). The Minister also noted that Cyient DLM's focus on design and manufacturing excellence in the aerospace and defence sector is well aligned with the state's vision for innovation-led industrial growth.
The visit coincided with the graduation ceremony of the first batch of "Kaushal", a joint initiative between Boeing and Cyient DLM, that skills people including from disadvantaged backgrounds and people with disabilities, bringing them into mainstream manufacturing, strengthening India's advanced manufacturing capabilities, and contributing to the country's vision for a robust local aerospace and defence ecosystem.
Kaushal, the Boeing supply chain team's skilling program in India, aims to nurture a new generation of skilled professionals equipped with advanced technical and manufacturing competencies. This partnership between Cyient DLM and Boeing exemplifies how industry collaboration can bridge academic learning with real-world application, driving innovation, employability, and self-reliance under the Make in India vision.
