The Minerals & Metals (M&M) business vertical of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has recently secured multiple orders in India.
These includes an order from Hindalco for setting up a 180 KTPA Aluminium Smelter along with the Gas Treatment Centre (GTC) for their upcoming greenfield project in Odisha. The scope for the Aluminium Smelter job includes civil and structural works, supply and erection. The GTC job involves engineering, procurement, construction and plant installation.
L&T has been a trusted and time-tested partner to Hindalco for over three decades, playing key role in their expansion programmes across alumina, aluminum and copper plants.
M&M has also secured an order for setting up 1 MTPA Coke Oven Battery 6 A/B from TATA Steel, Jamshedpur. The scope of work includes engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction and plant installation.
Then, the Product Business Unit of M&M has secured multiple orders - from several clients across India - for mining and material handling equipment such as Stacker Reclaimers, Wagon Tipplers, Crushers and Surface Miners.
