G E Shipping takes delivery of 2016 built Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier 'Jag Anjali'

The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) took delivery of a 2016 built Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier "Jag Anjali" of about 81,922 dwt. The company had contracted to buy the vessel in Q2 FY26. This vessel is financed entirely from internal accruals.

The Company's current owned fleet stands at 40 vessels, comprising 26 tankers (5 crude carriers, 17 product tankers, 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers aggregating 3.21 mn dwt.

Additionally, in Q2 FY26, the company has contracted to buy one secondhand Suezmax crude tanker, and contracted to sell one secondhand Suezmax crude tanker. These two purchase & sale transactions are expected to happen by Q3 FY26.

Shares of The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1045.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1049.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 10499 in over 630 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1052.50 and intraday low of 1039.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 10996483.00.
