Astral Limited to buy balance 20% stake in Astral Coatings Pvt Ltd

The Board of Directors of Astral Limited ("the Company") at its Meeting held today i.e. 10th September 2025, has considered and approved the acquisition of remaining 20% equity shares of Astral Coatings Private Limited (Formerly Know Gem Paints Private Limited) (Astral Coatings) (Subsidiary of the Company) from existing shareholder at a consideration of Rs. 75 Crores/-. With this acquisition, the total equity stake of the Company in Astral Coatings has increased from 80% to 100% making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Astral Coatings is a subsidiary of the company, involved in the business of the manufacturing, selling and distribution of paints, varnishes, coatings, products related to home decor, industrial paints etc.

Shares of Astral Poly Technik Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1438.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1462.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 43416 in over 3630 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1491.00 and intraday low of 1432.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 63217969.00.
