Jio Financial Services Ltd acquires 7,90,80,000 shares of Jio Payments Bank Ltd

Jio Financial Services Limited has today at around 3.27 p.m acquired 7,90,80,000 equity shares of Jio Payments Bank Limited ("JPBL") from State Bank of India for an aggregate consideration of Rs. 104.54 crore pursuant to the approval received from Reserve Bank of India on June 4, 2025. Consequent to this acquisition, JPBL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Shares of Jio Financial Services Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 288.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 289.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 536665 in over 5953 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 292.70 and intraday low of 287.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 155484282.00.
