Ather Energy Limited now has 55 Experience Centres in Maharashtra

Ather Energy Limited, India's leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer recently crossed a milestone with the opening of its 55th Experience Centre (EC) in Maharashtra, located in Dharashiv. Over the last few months, Ather has focused on rapidly expanding its presence in the state, to cater to the growing market and demand for its electric scooters, especially the Rizta - Ather's first family scooter.

In the last two months, Ather has opened 16 new Experience Centres in Maharashtra in locations such as Vasai, Wardha, Solapur, Hadapsar, Bhusawal, Malegaon, Chalisgaon, Kudal, Dharashiv, Nashik, Savedi, Udhyam Nagar, and Barshi. With increasing demand for EVs across the state, Ather plans to continue expanding its presence with more ECs in the coming months. In addition to the Experience Centres, Ather currently has 39 Service Centres (SCs) in Maharashtra, including three Gold Service Centres in Nashik, Vasai and Kolhapur. To support the EV two-wheeler ecosystem and make the ownership experience hassle-free, Ather has also established the Ather grid fast charging network across the state. Maharashtra has 524 Ather Grid Fast-chargers and Neighbourhood charges as of March 31, 2025. The Ather Grid is India's widest 2-wheeler fast charging network. As of March 31, 2025, Ather has installed 3,578 Fast chargers and Neighbourhood chargers across India.

Speaking on the expansion, Mr. Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy Limited, said, "We are thrilled to announce the opening of our 55th Experience Center in Maharashtra, which has been one of our most important markets. Ather recently launched the 2025 Ather 450. The 2025 Ather 450X and Ather 450 Apex models come equipped with multi-mode traction control, MagicTwistTM- which was previously introduced on the 450 Apex and an improved TrueRangeTM of up to 130 km on the Ather 450X 3.7kWh (IDC Range 161 kms) and the 450 Apex (IDC Range 157 kms). The 450X 2.9 kWh (IDC Range 126 kms) and the Ather 450S (IDC Range 122 kms) will also now deliver an improved TrueRangeTM of up to 105 kms. With the multi-mode traction control feature, riders can select from three distinct modes - Rain Mode, Road Mode and Rally Mode - to suit their control needs, each fine-tuned for specific riding scenarios.

The Rizta, Ather's first family scooter, is also gaining momentum across newer markets. The Rizta is available in two models and three variants: Rizta S and Rizta Z both with an IDC range of 123 km, and Rizta Z with an IDC range of 159 km. The Rizta has a large and comfortable seat and offers a storage space of 56L - including a 34L under seat capacity and an optional 22L frunk accessory. It also has a floorboard that provides the rider with ample leg space. Additionally, the Rizta has several safety features like SkidControl™, as well as features that were previously available on Ather's 450 series of scooters such as Fall Safe™, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), theft & tow alerts, and ping my scooter.

The Rizta S is priced starting at INR 1,08,156, (ex-showroom Pune). The Ather Rizta Z with an IDC range of 123 km and Rizta Z with an IDC range of 159 km are priced starting at INR 1,29,656 and INR 1,49,647 (ex-showroom Pune) respectively. The Ather 450 scooters are priced starting at INR 1,19,999 (exshowroom Pune).

Ather currently has 2 manufacturing plants in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, one each for vehicle assembly and battery manufacturing and an upcoming third manufacturing facility in Bidkin, AURIC, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The upcoming facility in Maharashtra is expected to further increase Ather's total manufacturing capacity across all facilities to 1.42 million electric two-wheelers per year.

Shares of Ather Energy Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 312.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 314.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 113813 in over 1901 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 316.20 and intraday low of 310.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 35613658.00.
