Aelea Commodities Ltd has raised funds from the public for the expansion of its processing capacity. The company has increased its capacity for processing raw cashew nuts from 40 metric tons to 140 metric tons.
As on the date of this communication, the company has successfully completed trial runs on part of the expansion, which includes the processing of shelled cashew kernels and packing of finished cashew products. This represents over 75% of the total expansion work.
Currently, the company is able to commercially process 35 metric tons of shelled cashew kernels into packed finished cashew products, which is equivalent to 140 metric tons of raw cashew nut processing. The balance of the expansion work, specifically related to the processing of raw cashews into shelled kernels, is progressing as planned. The company will continue to monitor and ensure timely completion of the expansion to meet its objectives.
Shares of Aelea Commodities Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 201.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 210.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41400 in over 54 trades.
