BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has received an order for execution of an Upgradation of Electric Traction System project in Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.
This contract agreement has been received for the work of "Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning for upgradation of Electric Traction System from 1 x 25 KV to 2 x 25 KV traction system for Kharagpur(Excl)-Bhadrak (Excl) section of Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway to meet 3000 MT Loading target" under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited. The total project cost comprises of Rs. 710.08 million and it is expected to be executed over a period of 16 months.
Commenting on the same, Mr. Aparesh Nandi, Chairman said, "We at BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited are pleased to inform our stakeholders on our recent order intake for upgradation of Electric Traction System in Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited to enable safe running of trains at augmented speed of 160 km per hour. The value of this order is Rs.710.08 million and we are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months, in near future also."
