APL Apollo Tubes Ltd - Q1FY25 Sales Volume at 7,21,064 Ton

APL Apollo Tubes Limited (APL Apollo), the World's largest branded structural steel tube company, today announced its sales volume performance for Q1FY25. The Company registered the highest ever sales volume of 7,21,064 Ton in Q1FY25 compared to 6,61,501 Ton in Q1FY24 and 6,78,556 Ton in Q4FY24. Volume was strong despite the quarter being impacted due to the general elections in the country.

A few highlights for Q1FY25:

1) The contribution from the value-added segment increased to 60% in Q1FY25, up from 57% in Q1FY24. APL Apollo's strategy of de-commoditization is intact.

2) The ramp-up of the new Raipur plant is on expected lines, with capacity utilization levels reaching 63% in Q1FY25.

3) The Dubai plant began partial production in December 2023 with 2 operational mills which achieved capacity utilization of 95% in Q1FY25. Two new mills will be operational in Q2FY25 which will further boost sales volume.

Shares of APL Apollo Tubes Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1555.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1545.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 42815 in over 5054 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1579.20 and intraday low of 1508.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 66045594.00.
