Fire accident at Trident Ltd's Dhaula facility

In the Raw Material Yard of the Paper division and surrounding areas of Trident Limited at Dhaula (Punjab) location, a fire accident has occurred on the evening of June 05, 2024.

The fire resulted in major damage to the Raw Material and adjacent areas.

However, no casualties were reported and there has been no damage to the plant & machinery. The operations were suspended as precautionary measure and are resumed today, for both, Home Textiles and Paper businesses. We are proactively monitoring the situation and have taken necessary steps for the safety and well-being of the people as well as to reduce the impact on the business operations.

The actual quantum of loss / damage is being ascertained.

The Loss/damage is adequately covered by Insurance, and the Company has already informed the Insurance Company about the fire Incident.

Shares of Trident Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 36.72 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 36.56. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1274010 in over 4287 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 37.13 and intraday low of 36.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 46881617.00.
