Birla Cable Limited announces expansion of production capacity of Data Cables

The Board of Directors of Birla Cable Limited vide its resolution passed by circulation on 29th March, 2024 have approved expansion of production capacity of Data Cables viz. Structured LAN Ethernet Cable facilities by 10,000 Boxes per month at the Company's manufacturing facility situated at Udyog Vihar, P.O Chorhata, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh.

The envisaged enhanced capacity is likely to be operational in the Financial Year 2025-26.

The Additional Capital Expenditure is estimated to be around Rupees Sixteen Crores Sixteen Lakhs (Rs.16.16 Crores) and will be met through internal accruals.

The proposed addition of production capacity is planned for augmenting the volume of Data Cables in order to meet anticipated growth in demand in domestic as well as overseas market.

Shares of Birla Cable Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 225.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 227.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41288 in over 1396 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 233.00 and intraday low of 224.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9463370.00.
