RUDRA TMX receives green product certification

Rudra Global Infra Products Ltd.'s flagship product Rudra TMX has been awarded the prestigious GreenPro Certification by CII-Indian Green Building Council on 24.11.2023, making it amongst the select few companies in the secondary steel sector to receive the honor.

The company fully subscribes to Government of India's vision of becoming carbon neutral by 2070. The company being aware of the environmental impact of its activities constantly strives to reduce its overall carbon footprint in every way possible and the GreenPro Certification is a testament of Rudra's commitment to environmental sustainability.

Since its inception, the company has adopted environment friendly practices and thus has relied upon usage of recyclable scrap for its manufacturing activity. The company ensures that a major part of its raw material requirement is met by sourcing of raw materials from worldclass ship recycling yards in Alang who have prescribed to HKC - 2009 principles and have been certified by NK Class (Japan), ensuring that even our suppliers are equally committed to environment friendly practices.

Over the years the company has also set up wind mills to increase its dependance on renewable sources for fulfilling its energy requirements. The future growth plans of the company include gradually shifting to renewable source of energy to completely meet its overall energy demands by setting up wind mills and solar plants.
