DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Ltd wins training tender of Rs. 96 lakhs

DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has been awarded India's largest DGCA Certified Drone Pilot Training Tender for Government officers of Karnataka valued at INR 96,00,000.00, by the Karnataka Forest Department. The scope of work for this ambitious tender includes training of 240 officers in DGCA - certified drone pilot training as well in applications of Drones in Forestry and Surveillance in two phases. This project holds a potential for training of at least 13,000 government personnel in Karnataka in the due course of time.

This pioneering collaboration marks a crucial milestone in the efforts to equip Karnataka's Forest Department with the latest Drone Technology, enabling them to enhance surveillance, search and rescue operations, and the tracking of poachers across the total area of 38,730 sq. km of forest area in the state. This tender sets a remarkable example for other State Governments to follow and implement the same within their jurisdiction.

It also represents a crucial step in preparing forest officials to effectively employ drones in their day-to-day operations. The primary objective of this venture is to leverage the capabilities of forest staff by providing them with training and certifications in drone operation. These skills will be vital in monitoring and safeguarding Karnataka's rich and diverse forest ecosystem.

"The training centers across the state of Karnataka will be pivotal in developing proficiency in drone technology, enabling forest frontline staff to harness its potential in surveillance, search and rescue operations, and tracking activities related to wildlife conservation and poacher deterrence", comments Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director at DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited.

The applications of drone technology in Karnataka's forests extend far beyond surveillance and poacher tracking. The center established by DroneAcharya at Dharwad will further serve as a nodal point for providing Drone services as well for surveying, 3D modeling, predictive analysis, anomaly detection, hotspot detection and surveillance.

The partnership between DroneAcharya and the Karnataka Forest Department promises to usher in a new era of conservation and management practices in the state. By providing specialized training and tools to frontline forest staff, the initiative seeks to enhance the protection and preservation of Karnataka's invaluable forest ecosystems.
