The Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory (EMC Lab) at ITI Limited has received an accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 - General Requirements for the Competence of Testing & Calibration Laboratories in the field of Electrical Testing. The EMC LAB has been assessed and accredited in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
EMC Lab has obtained renewal of NABL Accreditation for EMI/EMC Lab and fresh accreditation for Safety Lab also. Certification validity is for two years up to 26.08.2025. ITI Limited has set up the state-of-the-art Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Testing Facilities at its ITI Bangalore Plant where many customers leverage the testing expertise of ITI Limited.
This lab is a part of the Telecom Testing Centre, which ITI Limited has built inhouse as per the MoU signed with TEC to meet the EMC requirements of the telecom equipment launched in the market. This lab can test Industrial, Scientific, Medical and IT equipment for Emission and Immunity requirements of TEC as per International Standards. MIL-STD-461 E/F/G is followed for Defense and Commercial equipment can be tested as per CISPR 11/22/15/32.
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing measures the ability of equipment or systems to function satisfactorily in their electromagnetic environment without introducing intolerable electromagnetic disturbance to anything in that environment. With this accreditation, ITI Limited can support manufacturers and product designers in the industrial, commercial, information technology, telecom and medical fields by detecting the slightest anomalies in the electromagnetic and electrical operations of their products and address compliance and market access challenges.
