Elpro International Limited ("the Company") has acquired 3,00,000 Equity Shares of Manappuram Finance Limited aggregating to Rs. 4.20 crores for investment purpose.

Manappuram Finance is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC), which provides a wide range of fund based and fee based services including gold loans, money exchange facilities, etc. The Company is a Systemically Important Non-Deposit taking NBFC(NBFC-ND). The Company has diversified their product streams from a pure gold lending company to a more diversified financial company. Their current product segments include gold lending, microfinance, home loan finance and CV finance, etc.

Shares of ELPRO INTERNATIONAL LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 68.72 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 69.06. The total number of shares traded during the day was 35119 in over 229 trades.
