Brooks Laboratories Ltd fixes record date for 1:16 rights issue

The Board of Directors of Brooks Laboratories Ltd at its meeting held today i.e. on July 18, 2023 has considered and approved the terms of the rights issue:

Right Issue Size: The Board has decided and fixed Rs. 11,57,94,450/- as the Right Issue Size.

Right Shares: 1543926 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- Each (Face Value)

Right Issue Price: Rs. 75/- Per Equity Share (including a premium of Rs.65/- per equity share).

Right Entitlement Ratio: 1 (One) new Equity Share for every 16 (Sixteen) existing shares held by the eligible shareholders as on the Record Date as mentioned below.

Fixed record date for the purpose of determining the shareholders who will be eligible to apply for the Issue as Friday, July 28,2023 (Record Date);

Term of payment: Full amount has to be paid on the day of application;

ISIN for Right Entitlement: The company has made necessary arrangements with NSDL & CDSL for the credit of the Right Entitlement in dematerialized form in the demat account of the eligible equity shareholders as on the Record Date. The ISIN for such Right Entitlement is INE650L20011. The Right Entitlement of the eligible equity shareholders as on Record Date, shall be credited prior to the issue opening date, in respective demat account of the eligible shareholders under the above mentioned ISIN.

The Rights Issue is proposed to open on August 7,2023 and will close on August 14, 2023*. The last date for market renunciation will be August 9, 2023.

Shares of Brooks Laboratories Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 80.03 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 79.50. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2663 in over 53 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 81.00 and intraday low of 78.70. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 212877.00.
