Fire Accident at Factory of Sukartik Clothing Pvt. Ltd.

There was a fire accident on 28th June 2023 at Factory of M/s Sukartik Clothing Pvt. Ltd. i.e. a Subsidiary of Garnet International Limited, at Seera Village, Rahon Road, Ludhiana, Punjab.

The raw materials and finished goods stored therein are destroyed/damaged. However, all of them are adequately insured. Further, no damage caused to the manufacturing facility therein and we expect to resume operations within few days. We are in the process of appraising the actual impact.

Shares of GARNET INTERNATIONAL LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 54.24 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 56.18. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5257 in over 44 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 55.00 and intraday low of 53.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 285073.00.
