Modi Biotech Pvt Ltd commissions commercial operations of ethanol plant

Modi Biotech Private Limited, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of MODI NATURALS LIMITED, has commenced commercial operations of ethanol at its expanded grain-based ethanol plant in Chhattisgarh.

The installed capacity of the plant has been enhanced from 130 KLPD to 282 KLPD, making a significant expansion in the Company's ethanol production capabilities.

This development is in line with the Company's strategic focus on strengthening its presence in the ethanol segment and aligns with the Government of India's Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) Programme.

The commencement of commercial operations at the enhanced capacity is expected to improve operational efficiencies, increase production volumes, and contribute positively to the Company's growth going forward.

Shares of Modi Naturals Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 297.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 294.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 381 in over 46 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 302.90 and intraday low of 289.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 111228.00.
