Royal Enfield Motorcycles' May 2023 sales increases 22% YoY

Eicher Motors Ltd has announced the sales figures of Royal Enfield motorcycles for the month of May 2023. The company has sold 77,461 motorcycles during May 2023, as compared to 63,643 units in May 2022, registering an increase of 22% YoY.

The company has sold 69,038 units of models with engine capacity upto 350cc in May 2023 as against 53,835 units in May 2022, up by 28% YoY.

The company has sold 8,423 units of models with engine capacity exceeding 350cc during May 2023 as compared to 9,808 units in May 2022, a drop of 14% YoY.

Exports stood at 6,666 units in May 2023 as against 10,118 units in May 2022, a drop of 34% YoY.

The company has reported sales of 1,50,597 units during the period April 2023 to May 2023 as against 1,25,798 units during the period April 2022 to May 2022, registering YoY growth of 20%.

Shares of Eicher Motors Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3715.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3685.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13654 in over 2375 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3732.00 and intraday low of 3686.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 50731062.00.
