Som Distilleries and Breweries Limited announce its strategic tie-up with Carlsberg India Private Limited (Carlsberg) a renowned name in the brewing industry for the Odisha plant.

The partnership aims to leverage collective strengths, expertise, and resources of both the organizations to enhance the production and distribution of premium beverages in the Odisha region. With a shared commitment to quality and innovation, this alliance is poised to bring about a positive transformation in the local brewing landscape.

Under this strategic tie-up, Som's state-of-the-art plant in Odisha will be partly utilized to produce a wide range of world-class beverages, including popular brands from Carlsberg India Private Limited's portfolio.

This tie-up will also lead to better capacity utilisation of the expanded capacity of the Odisha plant which is expected to be completed by June 2023.

Shares of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 190.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 182.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 88064 in over 2969 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 193.25 and intraday low of 181.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 16660536.00.
