Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Ltd commissions new aluminium recycing facility

Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Limited has completed the installation of plant and machineries for Aluminium Recycling / Melting facility at its existing premises located in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu and obtained the necessary regulatory approvals and thereby commenced its commercial production on 14th December 2022.

The production at the recycling facility will be gradually scaled up over the months to reach optimum levels. This will help the Company to meet the ever-growing demand of Aluminium.

Circular economy and the importance of environmental responsibility are constantly emphasized by the Company and will continue to introduce more friendly projects and further contribute to circular economy.

Shares of PONDY OXIDES & CHEMICALS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 375.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 374.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 11673 in over 562 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 383.50 and intraday low of 370.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4391129.00.
