BPCL recognized for their product innovation and digitization efforts at the Annual Gas Conclave Awards 2022

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a 'Maharatna' and a Fortune Global 500 Company, has been awarded in two categories "Product of the Year Award" for their Kochi Refinery and "Excellence in Digitization" for their IS Team at the prestigious Economic Times Annual Gas Conclave Awards 2022, today.

The coveted awards were received by Shri Ajith Kumar K, Executive Director (Kochi Refinery) from Shri. Anil Razdan, Former Secretary of Ministry of Power & Former Additional Secretary, MOPNG and Shri. DK Sarraf, Former Chairperson PNGRB and Former C&MD, ONGC at an even in New Delhi.

BPCL Kochi Refinery was recognized for their efforts in exclusively manufacturing and introducing Propylene Derivative Petrochemicals for the first time in India.

Whilst, the IS team was recognized for making all efforts to automate their internal processes. MILA or Maritime Intelligent Logistic Automation is an end-to-end digitalisation and automation of product movement from loading locations abroad to various ports in India.
