Bajaj Auto Ltd appoints Shri Dinesh Thapar as CFO

The Board of directors of Bajaj Auto Ltd at its meeting held today i.e. Tuesday, 15 March 2022, has approved the appointment of Shri Dinesh Thapar as the CFO & as the KMP of the Company, with immediate effect in the existing vacancy.

Shri Dinesh Thapar, aged 46 years, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant & Gold Medalist Cost and Management Accountant, with over 23 years of work experience and having handled a range of leadership roles across Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Audit, Managing JVs and Supply Chain.

Between, 2019- 2022 hew was Group Chief Financial Officer of Reliance Retail and prior to that he was working at Hindustan Unilever Limited in different positions between 1998-2019, with last position as VP - Finance.

Shares of Bajaj Auto Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3453.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3453.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9992 in over 1366 trades.
