Ashok Leyland reports 7% YoY increase in February 2022 sales volume

Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of February 2022. The company has reported 7% YoY increase in sales during February 2022 at 14657 units as against 13703 units in February 2021. Domestic sales grew 4% in February 2022 at 13281 units as compared to 12776 units in February 2021.

LCV sales was down 10% YoY at 5294 units in February 2022 as against 5901 units in February 2021. Domestic LCV sales decreased 12% YoY to 5001 units during February 2022, as compared to 5662 units in February 2021.

M&HCV sales increased 20% YoY to 9363 units in February 2022, as against 7802 units in February 2021. M&HCV bus sales was up 76% YoY to 907 units in February 2022 as compared to 516 units in February 2021. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 16% YoY at 8456 units, as against 7286 units in February 2021.

Domestic M&HCV sales was up 16% YoY at 8280 units, as compared to 7114 units in February 2021. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 17% to 7861 units in February 2022 as against 6740 units in February 2021. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 12% to 419 units in February 2022, as compared to 374 units in February 2021.

Shares of Ashok Leyland Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 118.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 117.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 562042 in over 5089 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 119.75 and intraday low of 115.30. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 66041515.00.
