Websol Energy System Ltd approves rights issue to raise Rs. 59 crores

The Board of Directors of Websol Energy System Ltd at its meeting held on February 02, 2022, has discussed and approved the proposal for raising of funds, through issue of equity shares of INR 10 each on rights basis to existing shareholders of the Company as on a record date to be determined by the Board / Committee at an appropriate time, for an aggregate amount not exceeding INR 50.00 Crores (Rupees Fifty Crore only) subject to necessary approvals and consents as may be required.

The board has constituted a Rights Issue Committee to decide on the terms and conditions of the Issue, record date and all the other incidental matters in consultation with the Lead Manager.

Shares of Websol Energy System Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 142.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 135.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 151717 in over 1683 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 142.70 and intraday low of 135.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 21364693.00.
