Shri Roopwant Singh ceased to be nominee director on board of Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd

Consequent upon transfer from "Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department, Government of Gujarat" to "Commissioner, Geology & Mining, Government of Gujarat", Shri Roopwant Singh, IAS (DIN: 06717937), Nominee Director of Government of Gujarat on the Board of Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd, has tendered his resignation from the Board of Directors of the Company vide his Letter dated 17/08/2021 (received on 31/08/2021), with immediate effect.

In view of above, Shri Roopwant Singh, IAS (DIN: 06717937) ceased to be a Director of the Company w.e.f. 17/08/2021.

Shares of Gujarat Industries Power Co. Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs. 81.8 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 81.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14531 in over 369 trades.
