PRIME Database and Acuité Ratings collaborate to offer a comprehensive database on credit rating migrations

There has been an ongoing demand from investors, market intermediaries, banks and researchers for an authentic and regularly updated database on Credit Rating Migrations.

PRIME Database and Acuité Ratings have joined hands to offer PRIME Acuité Credit Rating Migrations Database (www.primeacuite.com), a comprehensive database on daily and historical rating actions announced by all SEBI registered credit rating agencies.

The application, available to subscribers, offers rating actions of all entities covering debt capital market and bank loans since 2015. As on date, the database covers over 57,800 issuers and 3,17,000 rating announcements across all 7 rating agencies. The product offers a simple and intuitive search using 23 parameters including ISIN, issuer/borrower name, industry, location, key financial indicators, instrument category, amount, rating agency, rating action and rating outlook. Other features include reports on newly rated companies, credit ratio and non-cooperating issuers as also instant excel download and API based access.

"This database shall prove to be extremely useful and value additive to investors, intermediaries, banks and financial institutions, issuers and even regulators to find relevant information under one roof", said Pranav Haldea, Managing Director, PRIME Database Group.

"We aim to solve the problem cited by investors and lenders who have to conduct multiple searches to access and verify current ratings and latest rating actions which is extremely critical for all stakeholders involved in credit decisions. PRIME and Acuité have collaborated to bring more intuitive search and report generation capabilities to users of this database", said Sankar Chakraborti, Group CEO, Acuité.
