Insecticides India Ltd granted patent for new composition

Government of India, the Patent Office has granted the Patent no. 368791 titled as 'A SYNERGISTIC FUNGICIDAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING HEXACONAZOLE AND CARBENDAZIM' to Insecticides (India) Limited for the term of 20 years from 15th day of June 2017 (Date of Filing).

The said patent also covers the fungicidal composition, Hexaconazole 4% + Carbendazim 16% SC which the company has been selling pan-India under the trademark of "SOFIA".

Shares of INSECTICIDES (INDIA) LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.608 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 572.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 76199 in over 5290 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 664.95 and intraday low of 569. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 47614421.
