Sharda Motor Industries Limited appoints Mr. Srinivasan Narasimhan as CFO

The Board of Directors of Sharda Motor Industries Limited at their meeting held today (i.e. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, commenced at 12:00 Noon and concluded at 01.05 P.M.), has considered and approved the change in the Office of Chief Financial Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of the Company vide. appointment of Mr. Srinivasan Narasimhan as Chief Financial Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of the Company in place of Mr. Vivek Bhatia with immediate effect. Consequently Mr. Vivek Bhatia cease to be the Chief Financial Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr. Srinivasan Narasimhan, aged about 39 years, has an extensive experience of over 17 Years and has played a significant role in Manufacturing Industries mainly with Auto Sector. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (2003), Company Secretary (2009) and Cost Accountant (2014). Prior to joining Sharda Motor Industries Limited ("SMIL"), Srinivasan had stints with Tenneco Automotive India, Saint Gobain Glass, TAFE, Carat Lane and Silkroad Sugar (Murugappa Group) wherein has been instrumental in ERP Implementations and Change Management Activities. Mr. Srinivasan has also been a winner of CFO Power List 2020 in the FP&A Category amongst the top 100 Influential CFO's of India.

Shares of Sharda Motor Industries Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.2077 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2058.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 266 in over 77 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2159.95 and intraday low of 2006.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 558322.
