NTPC Ltd increase stake in Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt. Ltd., exits Konkan LNG Ltd

NTPC Ltd. has executed Share Purchase Agreements with GAIL (India) Limited (GAIL) on 23rd February, 2021, for purchase of GAIL's share (25.51%) in Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt. Ltd. (RGPPL) and Sale of NTPC's share (14.82%) (on fully dilutive basis) in Konkan LNG Ltd. (KLL).

After transfer of shares as per the Share Purchase Agreements, NTPC will exit from KLL and NTPC's shareholding in RGPPL will become 86.49%.

Shares of NTPC LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.103.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 102. The total number of shares traded during the day was 721883 in over 4374 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 104.1 and intraday low of 100.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 74236900.
