Godrej Industries Ltd to raise Rs. 1500 crore

The Board of Directors of Godrej Industries Ltd have approved raising of funds by way of issuance of Unsecured Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) / Bonds / Other Instruments, listed and / or unlisted, on private placement basis aggregating to an amount not exceeding Rs. 1,500 Crore (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Crore), in one or more tranches, during a year from the date of the approval by Shareholders.

The Board of Directors has authorized the Management Committee of the Board of Directors to determine the detailed terms and conditions of the issue and take all necessary steps, incidental, consequential, relevant or ancillary thereof in connection with the proposed issue.

Shares of GODREJ INDUSTRIES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.449.6 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 448.7. The total number of shares traded during the day was 16565 in over 452 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 462.35 and intraday low of 434.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 7405680.
