Om Infra Ltd updates on damage at under execution Tapovan Vishnugad Hydro-electric Project due to Natural Calamity

Glacial outburst and resultant flood near Tapovan in Uttarakhand has caused damage to our under execution hydro-electric project Tapovan Vishnugad in the region. Our Company was executing EPC Contract for Hydro-mechanical Equipments for Tapovan Hydro-electric Project for NTPC Limited.

While rescue operations are on, situation is being monitored continuously with the help of NTPC Ltd and district administration and likely loss or damage caused is still being assessed. We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives of our fellow workmen and we sincerely hope and pray that we are able to find some survivors.

Appropriate insurance cover is available for the loss / damage caused including unfortunate loss of human lives.

Shares of OM INFRA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.24 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 23.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13695 in over 123 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 24.45 and intraday low of 23. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 325242.
