Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of September 2020. The company has reported 5% drop in sales during September 2020 at 8344 units as against 8780 units in September 2019. Domestic sales was marginally lower in September 2020 at 7847 units as compared to 7851 units in September 2019.
LCV sales was up 17% YoY at 4702 units in September 2020 as against 4036 units in September 2019. Domestic LCV sales increased 20% YoY to 4567 units during September 2020, as compared to 3816 units in September 2019.
M&HCV sales dropped 23% YoY to 3642 units in September 2020, as against 4744 units in September 2019. M&HCV bus sales was down 76% YoY to 330 units in September 2020 as compared to 1401 units in September 2019. M&HCV Trucks sales was down 1% YoY at 3312 units, as against 3343 units in September 2019.
Domestic M&HCV sales was down 19% YoY at 3280 units, as compared to 4035 units in September 2019. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 2% to 3202 units as against 3131 units in September 2019. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus dropped 91% to 78 units in September 2020, as compared to 904 units in September 2019.
