JSW Steel's Crude Steel Production at 13.17 Lakh tonnes for August 2020

The Crude Steel production for the month of August 2020 was at 13.17 lakh tonnes showing growth of 6% over July 2020 (MoM) and 5% over August 2019 (YoY). The average capacity utilisation during the month of August 2020 was 88%.

The production of Rolled Products - Flat was up 15% YoY at 9.80 million tonnes in August 2020 as against 8.51 million tonnes in August 2019 and higher by 4% MoM as compared to 9.40 million tonnes in July 2020.

The production of Rolled Products - Long was down 20% YoY at 2.32 million tonnes in August 2020 as against 2.91 million tonnes in August 2019 and lower by 3% MoM as compared to 2.40 million tonnes in July 2020.

Shares of JSW STEEL LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.278.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 286.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 868137 in over 5328 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 288.35 and intraday low of 278.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 248424232.
