Tata Global Beverages Ltd reappoints Mr. Ajoy Kumar Misra as MD & CEO

The Board of Directors of Tata Global Beverages Limited has, at its meeting held on March 27, 2019, subject to the approval of the shareholders, re-appointed Mr. Ajoy Kumar Misra, whose term as Managing Director would end on March 31, 2019, as the Managing Director and CEO of the Company for a period of 1 year with effect from April 1, 2019 up to March 31, 2020.

The Board of Directors has accepted Mr. Ajoy Misra's request that he be permitted to retire post the above period of reappointment.

Mr. Ajoy Kumar Misra, Managing Director & CEO ofTata Global Beverages Limited, is a B.E. Hons. in Civil Engineering from BITS Pilani and M.B.A. Marketing from Faculty of Management Studies and is a member of Tata Administrative Service (TAS). He has done his Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has been with the Tata Group for more than 38 years of which 2~ years have been in senior management positions.

Mr. Misra has worked in various departments of Taj Hotels from Sales and Marketing to Operations. He joined the Taj in 1980 in the Corporate Sales and Marketing Department through the Tata Administrative Services. He was appointed as Executive Director and Deputy CEO of Tata Global Beverages (TGB) and subsequently has been elevated as the Managing Director and CEO of the Company with effect from 1st April, 2014. He is on the Board of Directors of various TGB Group Companies.

Shares of Tata Global Beverages Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs.196.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 196. The total number of shares traded during the day was 159863 in over 1267 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 200.15 and intraday low of 195.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 31671520.
