IndusInd Bank inaugurates two branches in Kolkata

IndusInd Bank inaugurated two branches in Kolkata. One of the two branches is located in the posta Bazar area of the city, while the other is situated on Sarat Bose Road. Both branches house an ATM each that will be operational 24X7. With this, the Bank now has a wide network of 60 branches across West Bengal.

The branch at Posta Bazar was inaugurated by Mr. Biswanath Agarwala, General Secretary, The Posta Bazar Merchants Association, one of the country's oldest merchant associations. The branch on Sarat Bose Road was inaugurated by Mr. Sudeb Guha Thakurta, Secretary, Dakshinee, a reputed music academy based in the city. Both the inauguration ceremonies were also graced by senior officials of IndusInd Bank.

Speaking on the inauguration of the branches, Mr. Soumitra Sen, Head - Branch Banking, IndusInd Bank said, "We are happy to inaugurate two new branches in Kolkata which is a constantly evolving market for the Bank. This aligns with the Bank's strategy to aid the financial acceleration that the country is presently on. The new branches aim to deepen relationships and attract new customers, thus strengthening IndusInd Bank,s client base across the region. As we expand into deeper geographies to serve the local populace, we look forward to bring a whole new world of convenience and flexibility to customers."

The new branches will provide services like Saving & Current accounts, Loan products, Wealth management services and credit cards. Additionally, it will also offer customers with innovative facilities like'Video Branch', 'My Account, My Number', 'Choice Money ATM', 'Direct Connect', 'Check on Cheque', 'Cash on Mobile' as well as 'Finger Print' banking.

The Bank services its large customer base through a multi-channel delivery network of branches, ATMs, call centre, internet banking and an innovative social banking platform called'OnTheGo'which offer a suite of banking services through multiple-social networks as an extension to its digital services.

Shares of INDUSIND BANK LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1517.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1498.3. The total number of shares traded during the day was 80172 in over 2604 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1529 and intraday low of 1478. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 121462092.
