HDFC Bank Q3 Net Profit soars to Rs 429.36 Crores

HDFC Bank Ltd has announced the Un-Audited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.

The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 4293.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 2956.40 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 20722.30 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 34057.90 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1517.55, down by Rs.58.30 or 3.70%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1575 and low of Rs.1485.

The total traded quantity was 99742 compared to 2 week average of 148258.
