Ckoramaandel Cements AGM approves increase in borrowing power

Ckoramaandel Cements Ltd has announced that the members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 29, 2006, inter alia, have approved the following:

1. Increase in borrowing powers of the Board of Director of the Company from Rs 150.00 crores to Rs 330.00 crores.

2. Authority to Board to mortgage / create a charge on the assets of the Company for an amount of not exceeding Rs 33.00 Crores.
