UCO Bank denies Public Issue plans

UCO Bank has clarified with reference to the news item appearing in a leading web portal titled "UCO Bank may raise Rs 450 cr via FPO", that the Bank vehemently deny the contents of the referred news item. The Bank's proposal involving restructuring of capital has been submitted to the Central Government for its 'in principle approval' which the Bank is awaiting.

The stock closed the day at Rs.81.50, up by Rs.10.70 or 15.11%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.84.95 and low of Rs.72.55.

The total traded quantity was 23388569 compared to 2 week average of 1709658.
